John H Jenkinson ABSI MSIA

John began playing cornet at the age of 10 in the Northampton New Imperial Band, eventually progressing to principal cornet. In 1956 John joined the "Cambrai" Staff Band of The Royal Tank Regiment as a euphonium player, doubling on trombone, for a period of 3 years. A brief period followed as principal trombone with Kendal Brass Band.

John has recently turned his musical skills towards arranging and composing for both concert and brass band, and already has several works to his credit.
